Advice for Road Runners: The Salomon Women's DRX Bliss in the Safari/Cantaloupe/White colourway are stability road running shoes. For extra support, they feature a holistic Active Chassis support system.
Underfoot Feel
The visible structure on the medial and lateral sides of the midsole is the Active Chassis support system. This firmer foam guides your feet throughout the gait cycle.
As the Salomon DRX Bliss features a thick layer of Energy Foam cushioning, they should feel very protective underfoot. At the same time, the midsole also delivers great energy return. Ultimately meaning the cushioning performs over a range of paces.
Upper Fit
You should expect the ankle area of the Salomon DRX Bliss to feel very comfortable. That's because they feature plush padding around the heel collar. This also improves the sensation of ankle security.
With a breathable engineered mesh, the upper should feel light and comfortable. Internal SensiFit ensures a supportive midfoot feel too.
Ideal Run Type
We recommend the Salomon Women's DRX Bliss road running shoes for runners who have greater ranges of pronation. We also suggest using them for slower to steady paced runs. If you're running longer distances, the midsole should feel protective and comfortable.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
